Pamela Parker grew up interacting with horses and began drawing them when she was very young. As she continued to develop her talent, she both studied art individually with several artists and refined her artistic skills on her own. As an adult, she splits her time between training racehorses professionally and painting them. She lives in Washington, continuing to combine her passions for both horses and artwork.

Pamela Parker's artwork is known far and wide for its compassionate portrayal of humans and horses interacting, especially the bond of trust between children and horses or pets of their childhoods. Her paintings are stunningly realistic, owing to her masterful attention to anatomic detail and sense of lighting.

Pamela Parker has come to be known as one of America's staple equestrian artists. Her work is on display in several illustrious exhibitions, such as the Kentucky Derby Museum, the Favell Museum of Art and Artifacts, and the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame.
